Laridae Consulting leverages a vast international contact network with demonstrated success in technology, business, sales and marketing to advance our customer's projects. We believe in listening very closely to our customer's goals, requirements, and challenges and then crafting bespoke solutions to address each specific need.  Successful outcomes are achieved by immersing ourselves in the company culture, in the customer experience, and by developing and managing inventive programs to help our customers create new opportunities, connect with customers, and close more deals.

Who?

Eric has gained a broad experience in many aspects of oceanographic and subsea technology, measurements, and science over the past twenty years and has been involved in academia, government and private industry.

He has held leadership positions in sales, marketing, business development, product development, manufacturing, and team development. Eric is a demonstrated growth leader with market depth, customer touch, and technical expertise. He has achieved success in doing business with customers in the USA, China, Canada, Mexico, UK, and much of Europe.

Parallel to ocean technology, Eric is also interested in developing win-win sustainable corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects between commercial companies and community & non-profit organizations. Two examples of CSR programs that Eric initiated and led are the Nortek Student Equipment Grant and RBR2020 Cohort.

Eric has earned an MS in Physical Oceanography (University of South Florida), a Certificate in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology) and an MBA with a focus on Leadership, Innovation, and Global Business (Northeastern University).  He was the winner of the prestigious Babson University MBA Marketing Case Competition (2012) and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honour Society.

Eric and his wife, Angela, crossed the Pacific Ocean on a small sailboat in 2002-2003 and the Atlantic Ocean, with their family of three children, in 2016-2017.
